pretty glad to be too. i love writing on here. i don't care if anyone reads it or not.. i just like to get stuff out. :)
so it's now april. 2010 is flying by for me! maybe because im so excited about august next year... (america, here i come!!!) but so far this year has been pretty awesome. :) be warned.. this post will be longish... lol
now lets investigate...
i am here with Danielle. THIS is the only photo i can show anyone from my new years celebrations. even here we are looking worse for wear.. this is probably around 11pm.. the rest i am ashamed to say are just too gross. i enjoyed celebrating the birth of a new year a little too much.. whatever. i had a blast. and a headache the next day...
in february Danielle turned 21. i started working with her in september 2007 and since then she has become one of my best friends. Dani has one of those personalities that make it impossible not to get along with. im glad to go to work and see her everyday. she is one of the strongest, funniest, smartest, most confident people i have ever met. here she is at her b'day party enjoying some lady gaga and smirnoff double black.
in march, i turned 21!!! i didn't have a big party for my birthday. i have always preferred going to someone elses party. i really don't like a fuss being made over me. this was perfect. i had a dinner with my family and 4 close girlfriends. both my parents were there which was pretty special to begin with. i was incredibly spoilt with gifts and the dinner and cake were freakin delicious!! a couple of weeks later a group of about 15 friends took me out for drinks. that night was also perfect and was not followed by a hangover. :) here i am with by beautiful sisters nikki, kim and manda.
over the easter long we
ekend, danielle and i had 4 days off work at the same time so we took advantage. ROADTRIP! we drove to sydney. it took about 9 hours with 2 short stops. people ask why we didn't drive... dude! because the drive was half the fun! once we got there we did heaps of touristy stuff. went and saw the sydney opera house and the harbor bridge (we didnt climb it cause dani is scared of heights...) did a jet boat ride, went to luna park and went to BONDI beach! i had never been to sydney before. i have only gone to suburban sydney.. i had so much fun. next time im climbing that bridge!
a week after sydney my best friend amy got engaged! her gentleman friend is adrian. he is one of the sweetest guys ever and is perfect for amy. they have set a wedding date 3 years away so they can build their dream house first. oh and i was asked to be her maid of honor. to say i was chuffed would be the understatement of the century. :)
then off to mildura. one of my oldest frien
ds crystal had her 21st/engagement party. we drove up there too. only took 5 hours which seemed like nothing after sydney. her party was a dress up. theme: occupation. i went as a sandwich artist. creative huh!? i stole my sisters entire uniform. :) i was only able to go up there for a 3 day weekend but it was terrific catching up with her, her fiance chris and their baby denzel. oh i was asked to be her bridesmaid too. :Dnow that pretty much brings us up to date on the big events so far in 2010. again, sorry this post was so long and awesome... ;)
