my dad

is feeling better. still not great, but better.
he had to have a vein replacement surgery on his left leg. the doctors took one from his arm and put it in his leg, but it didnt take properly so they had to go in again and replace it with a synthetic one.
i got a phone call at work about him going in for the operation and had to leave early.
man, it scared the crap out of me.
im not that close to my dad really. my parents divorced when i was 3. i lived with my mum and sisters, my brother stayed with dad. we went out and stayed with him on weeekends and some of the holidays... but in a sad way he is more like a close uncle to me then a father.
but when something like this happens... it just makes you rethink everything.
i have to spend more time with him... cause one day i will regret not getting to know him better.

other news.
my sister gets back from Qld tonight and my other sister gets back from Vanuatu on saturday. yay! i have missed them.
my brother-in-law fixed my car this morning. also yay! there was a problem with the battery and the spark plugs... i have no idea what... but im guessing its something not good. hence the car not starting. its funny, just the other day i was talking about buying a new car... is this a sign...?
tomorrow is thursday. my longest working day of the week. 9 hours. gross. but i get to work with my friend dani. i love working with her. we just gas-bag all day and the time just flies!
i started reading twilight the other day. love.the.book! i already like it better then the movie.
